Glan Thomas

Glan was born in 1957 and lives in St Clears. In 1996 he was awarded the Financial Planning Certificate following examination by the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Glan spent nearly 9 years working for the Prudential in West Wales as a financial consultant providing face to face financial advice until 2001 when Prudential closed their home service division. He also has had prior experience in the banking sector with Barclays Bank in London and various branches throughout West Wales.
He has 17 years experience as a professional financial adviser and is also the Money Laundering Officer of the firm.
Glan is a Director of Western Welsh Financial Services and is a fluent Welsh speaker who conducts a significant volume of his business through the medium of Welsh.

Peter Iles

Peter was born in 1960; he lives in Haverfordwest with his wife and 2 children. He has almost 30 years experience in financial services as a professional financial adviser and in 1997 the Chartered Insurance Institute awarded him the Financial Planning Certificate following examination.
Peter spent 20 years working for the Prudential in South and West Wales holding a number of roles including management responsibilities for customer service and sales.
Peter is also the firm's compliance officer for all regulated business.
Peter is The Compliance Director of Western Welsh Mortgage Services LTD.

David Floyd

David started his career as an Appointed Representative of Equity and Law (now AXA) before he became a district agent in the traditional role as “The Man from the Pru”. David spent nearly 10 years working for the Prudential as a financial consultant in South and West Wales until 2001 when Prudential closed their home service division. David was one of the founders of Western Welsh Financial Services and, by now, has 20 years experience as a professional financial adviser and is also the Financial Director of the firm.

Barrie Kent

Barrie was born in 1959, lives in Carmarthen with his wife Dominique and has two children.
Barrie has extensive experience as a professional financial adviser and in 1997 was awarded the Financial Planning Certificate following examination by the Chartered Insurance Institute and in January 2004 was awarded the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice Examinations followed by Certificate in Equity Release in September 2008.
Barrie is currently studying for the Diploma for Financial Adviser (DipFA).
He spent 9 years working for the Prudential in South and West Wales as a financial consultant. “The focus is on completely understanding each client’s circumstances, with individually tailored advice through professionally produced reports. We already have solicitors and accountants who use us to provide financial advice to their clients. We can give general or more specialist advice, depending on what you’re needs is”.
Barrie was one of the founders of Western Welsh Financial Services and, by now, has 16 years experience as a professional financial adviser and is also the Technical Director of the firm and is a Welsh speaker who conducts a significant volume of his business through the medium of Welsh.
