Glan was born in 1957, lives in St Clears with his wife and has two teenage children. He has 12 years experience as a professional financial adviser and in 1996 was awarded the Financial Planning Certificate following examination by the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Glan spent nearly 9 years working for the Prudential in West Wales as a financial consultant providing face to face financial advice. He also has had prior experience in the banking sector with Barclays in London and various branches throughout West Wales.

Glan is also the firm's Money Laundering Officer for all regulated business.

Glan is a director of Western Welsh Financial Services and is a fluent Welsh speaker who conducts a significant volume of his business through the medium of Welsh.
